Earlier this year my wonderful brother married his now wife in the most beautiful venue. We had the hard part of staying in this lovely newly furnished apartment for the weekend. We couldn't be happier to stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

The Pumping house is a fully refurbished water pumping station, opened in 1905, which is now used as a wedding venue. The owners have designed each apartment into individually themed luxury spaces, we stayed in the 'Garden Room'.

I adore the exposed brick work in the main bedroom, with the industrial black metal features and dark woods, the apartment stays true the original building and still feels fresh and cosy. The building is situated on the edge of Sherwood Forest, the ferns and hints of green interior definitely nod to this with the hug open windows and doors allowing the views of forest to come flooding in.

The fresh white bathroom has a lovely mix of titles, using different patterns to add interest while keeping a very simple colour palette.

This apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 singles, so this would be the perfect family room for anyone to stay in.

Let me know what you think below, I know I'll be taking some inspo into my own home!
